Love in Macau

In the 1940s, when Hong Kong and many parts of China fell into Japanese hands, throngs of people flocked to Macau to seek a safe haven. Among the people who fled there were a reporter and a descendent of the Qing royal family. Through the story of how they met and fell in love and the dilemma they faced, the film gives a glimpse of the dire circumstances of the time and the jittery life of people.
