When police finds a dead body with the words "lousy actor" written on the corpse, they send beat cop/aspiring actor Chan (Jim Shim) to acting school in order to get clues to the murder. Chan’s overacting antics, however, annoy almost all of his classmates except Dani (Charlene Choi), an adult film actress wannabe. SIMPLY ACTORS is a tongue-in-cheek parody on everybody’s dream of becoming somebody.
